Types of Hypnotherapy

Below we briefly outline some of the common types of hypnotherapy available.

Suggestion hypnotherapy (Clinical Hypnotherapy)

Suggestion techniques are employed within most types of hypnotherapy. The premise behind hypnosis is that when we are in a hypnotic state, our subconscious is more open to suggestion.

Suggestions are offered by the hypnotherapist during this state to help alter thought patterns. This technique is ideal for changing habits, overcoming anxiety and reducing stress.

“Since most problems are created by our imagination and are thus imaginary, all we need are imaginary solutions.”
— Richard Bandler, co-creator of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Time Line Therapy™

Discover emotional freedom and real empowerment. Deriving from NLP, Time Line Therapy™ is based on the premise that our memories are stored in a linear pattern (i.e. a timeline). Timeline therapists use different techniques to help you release limiting beliefs and negative emotions linked to past experiences.

While this approach can be used for a variety of concerns, it is thought to be especially useful for those struggling with depression, anxiety and stress.

“Hypnosis is a normal and natural way of knowing your inner self and augmenting it with virtues like self-belief.”
— Dr Prem Jagyasi

It is a very structured approach to resolving the cause of your problem, rather than just relieving the symptom. It combines both hypnosis and hypnotherapy and adds additional advanced techniques and tools.

Most clients experience significant relief from their symptoms in 6 to 10 sessions.
